Amazonite perthite art print

Feldspars may be the most common mineral group in the crust, but that doesn’t mean they are boring! Perthite refers to an intergrowth of two feldspars, formed as they crystallise from magma. In this case, white streaks of albite grew within one amazonite crystal, creating the spectacular pattern.
