My new 2024 Rock Calendar features twelve original rock illustrations (there is snowflake obsidian, tonalite gneiss, tillite, orbicular granodiorite, amphibolite, BIF, alkali basalt, lapis lazuli, mudstone, garnet dacite, limestone and eclogite) that will bring you joy all year round. But that’s not all!

It also includes a timeline of the Earth: essentially, I took the age of the Earth (4.6 billion years) and condensed it into 366 days. That means that each day of 2024 corresponds to 12, 568,306 years of our planet’s history. I chose several important events (such as the first emergence of life, the Great Oxidation Event or the extinction of dinosaurs) and calculated which day of the year they correspond to. So this calendar is not only stunning to look at but also a great educational tool!

The A5-sized calendar is printed on 100% recycled and recyclable paper in Leeds (but why would you recycle it when you can reuse each page as a print? Frame it or do a collage; get creative).
