The Pocket Rocks collection celebrates the small rocks and minerals that you carry in your pocket. Often overlooked, yet equally as important as whole outcrops.
I found this pebble while walking along the coast near Stonehaven. Jasper is a cryptocrystalline form of quartz (it just means that the quartz crystals are too small to be seen with the naked eye). The deep red colour is caused by the presence of iron.
